The dashboard, and what needs your attention
The Needs attention page, what puts things on it, and how to reach it.
Needs your attention is a page of its own, under Accounting › Needs attention: every condition in the books that a person has to decide about, in one list, in three groups: what to fix, what is worth a look, and what is for your information. Under the list, Business health says how the business is doing.
What appears there
- Overdue invoices, with what they are worth.
- Bills past their due date.
- Budgets at or near their limit, with how much of the month is left.
- Loan and lease payments that have fallen due.
- Imported bank lines waiting to be categorised, and bank accounts not reconciled through the end of last month.
- Anything the ledger check has found: an account that does not agree with the register behind it.
Every part of the app reports into that one list, so nothing hides in a corner of a screen you do not open.
The bell and the dashboard
The bell at the top of every screen opens the same page, and carries a dot when there is something on it. On the dashboard, a note beside Customize says how many things need you and opens the page.

A row that asks something of you has a button for it: chase the overdue invoices, review the old ones, or review a bank account that has not been reconciled.
