Back up your books
The Back up button, what it produces, and when to use it.
Back up in the sidebar downloads your whole company as a single file. Keep it somewhere that is not the same computer.
If you are signed in, your books are also on the server and backed up nightly there: a copy you can restore to a chosen date. The download is for the times you want a copy in your own hands: before a big import, before a period close, or before letting somebody else use the machine.
What is in it
Everything for the open company: the chart of accounts, every document and its journal entry, contacts, items, and the settings. It can be loaded back into Elvira on any machine.

Press Back up at the bottom of the sidebar. The file downloads immediately: there is nothing to configure.
Back up sits with Theme and Style at the foot of the sidebar, on every screen.
