Recurring transactions

Templates that create invoices, bills, expenses and journals on a schedule.

Accounting → Recurring. A template says what to create, how often, and when to stop.

How often

Daily to yearly, multiplied by an interval: so every 2 weeks and every 3 months are settings, not approximations. It can stop on a date or after a number of runs.

How they run

  • A due queue you look at, running one or all of them.
  • Or automatically, when the app opens.
  • Or as drafts, so somebody checks before they post.

Worth knowing

The list shows what each template is worth a month, whatever its frequency: so a daily one and a yearly one can be compared. A template in a foreign currency stays in that currency and is re-rated each run.
